The Sweet and Hot Peppers

photo of art guitar of peppers
The body is carved from a single piece of white ash that grew on the campus of Ohio University for about 200 years. I had notes on all the varieties of peppers I put in this piece, but I think the paper fell on the floor of my shop where it would have instantly carbonized and is presently being pressed into diamonds.

This one was a lot of work but completely fun. I have some very rough sketches of other food-themed projects. We’ll see if I ever get to any of them.
